How would you describe your style?
We specialize in providing high quality music entertainment and crowd interaction. We have years of experience in providing services for Wedding Parties, Private Party Events, and Middle and High School Dances and Formals. Our style is based on your expectations. We can be as low-key or high energy as your event requires. We have adaptable skills that vary depending on your needs and expectations. We work closely with you to understand what you want accomplished, and then give you creative and tasteful suggestions to make those dreams become a reality.
What will be your attire for my event?
Our DJs will always wear business attire, unless the client specifies otherwise. We ask for your preference on your event planner sheet so there is no confusion as to what is expected of us.
When do you arrive to setup?
We always arrive at least 1 hour prior to start time posted on the contract, so your guests don't see us setting up and your DJ can run through all their sound checks. If your event requires an additional lighting package, we may arrive as early as 2 hours prior to the start time posted on the contract.
Could you describe your setup?
You can be assured that the neat, clean appearance of our equipment and personnel will always add a touch of style and class for any occasion. You should ask any DJ to provide a picture of their setup. Since you devoted so much time to organize all the colors with the décor, shouldn't the DJ do the same?
What does your equipment consist of?
We offer a variety of professional grade sound and lighting equipment for all of our events. With our high quality full range, pro audio system, we can provide clear great sounding music for all occasions. This includes a wireless microphone for any speaking or announcements that need to be made, such as a toast.
Do you take live requests from the crowd?
Yes, this is one of the most important things a DJ can do. This establishes rapport with their audience so that the guests can feel comfortable, and enjoy the evening as it flows smoothly. All music will be screened to make sure it is appropriate for your event.
Can I make a list of songs to play during the night?
Absolutely! When you have booked your event with us, you will be given access to our online planning tools. At that time you may begin a list of songs that are desired throughout the night. If there is a song we don't have, we will get it before your event. Please remember to keep the tastes of everyone at your event in mind.
Do you play continuous music?
Yes, we are a professional entertainment company; we do not have breaks that interrupt your event.
Will/can you act as my Master of Ceremonies?
Yes, if that is what you prefer. We are the emcee 95% of the time, but some halls have their own MC for the welcoming toast & blessing. If you have someone else already designated to MC certain portions of your event, we will work with them accordingly.
We don't know how to plan a wedding reception can you help?
One of our SPECIAL levels of personalized service is provided in our entertainment planning guide. We understand that you have might not have planned a wedding reception before, so we will plan every detail for the night, so you can enjoy it and not have to worry yourself. We will also take care of the announcements, formalities, and time schedule. We also coordinate with any professional present to ensure everyone is informed and everything is organized.
How far are you willing to travel for our upcoming event?

When should I book my event?
Receptions on average are booked 9-12 months ahead of time. Other parties are usually booked 6 months ahead of time. It is never too early to have your date set. Depending on the time of year, determines date availability. You should book us as soon as your event venue is confirmed. And if we are already booked, we will refer you to another member of GHAMMA that best fits your needs.
What are your rates like?
There are so many factors that go into pricing. Since our rates vary dramatically because we offer a wide range of entertainment options, it is best to contact us for an event quote. We will work with you in choosing the best package to meet your needs. Our prices fall in the range of $300.00-$1500.00.
Do you use a written contract and require a deposit?
Reputable disc jockeys document their services with a professional contract to ensure accurate information and require a retainer to reserve your date. A deposit of $50 dollars is required to reserve a date. The remainder of the balance is due at the beginning of the event. (For large events, or events on a holiday, a larger deposit may be required).
Can I meet with the DJ prior to the event?
Yes, give us a call and we will schedule an appointment. As always, we include this with any booking. We also provide additional online planning tools in the event you are not able to meet with us prior to your event.
Can I come and watch you perform at your next event?
If the event is a private affair, then you can not come to watch us perform. We focus all our attention on the client booked for the day and not the next one that we are going to book. You would not want to have a complete stranger come uninvited to your special celebration, so expect the same consideration for the clients we book.
Do you belong to any business related associations?
We are proud members of GHAMMA, Greater Houston Area Mobile Music Association, as well as HMBC, Houston Minority Business Council.
